Which types of prescription are Thin, High Index, Lenses suitable for?

Thin, high index, lenses are perfect for anyone with a strong prescription for

This is because they refract light more efficiently than a standard, or thicker, lens.  The higher the refraction index, the thinner and lighter the lens can be.

The simple answer to this is to ask us for advice if you’re not sure. We can provide you with all your options. We can create a lens for any prescription, single vision distance, single vision reading, or Franklin split lenses (for separate distance and reading requirements).

The stronger your prescription is, the higher the likelihood that a thin, high index, lens will be suitable.
